First impression of the top two pictures was ‘Commer’ Could there have been a collaboration/licence agreement with Dodge even back then,
or am I sadly mistaken?

It’s a Dodge, sorry I double posted that shot.
Hi Kevin, Billy Thompson (Thompsons of Prudhoe) started hauling lime with such a Commer in his early days for Adam Lythgoe. Friends of my parents who were ship repairers at Low Quay Blyth just round the corner from Eddie Fergusons’s yard. The two companies were well known to each other.
Happy New year,
Leyland 600.

Happy New Year to all. Gerald, that little Dodge was being driven by Alex Purvis, long service driver and later Transport Manager for Fergy’s. I took those pics in August, but it was only yesterday that I managed to transfer them to a device to post them. The PC we bought in 2017 is a total waste of money and time. Regards Kev.
Wishing you all Good Health this coming year and beyond.
Thanks to Buzzer, kevmac47 and DEANB for the pics

I have made the same mistake in the past.
I don’t think it was collaboration as such, more a case of using a ‘bought in cab’
The later Commer Superpoise and Dodge ‘Kew’ both used a similar cab by ,i believe, Briggs.
