I had a “Gardner 150” badge on my Minivan. Thank goodness it didn’t affect the performance!

Probably the longest lasting thing on it ROF, did the badge leak oil like the engines? There used to be a Volvo van like those running around Reading when I lived there, looked a stylish vehicle for those times compared to ‘our’ efforts.

Hi Buzzer, The Atkinson cab was known as the “Bodyline” or “Tin Front” in an attempt to modernise the traditional looks of tha Atki cab.

Strangely, it looks like the Somua JL 19! Could the “V” indicate that it’s powered by a V8?

Although the ‘Bodyline’ term does not seem t o have been in use at the time of production, and seems not to appear in any contemporary literature. It was officially referred to by the snappy title of “full front deluxe cab”, and was the first use of twin headlights on the Mk.1 cab
