Well I do hope its loaded for the North East, Chivas Regal Royal Salute Blended Scotch Is on my next shopping list. Blood relative. My dad who was the youngest of 15(no telly or radio in them days), his eldest sister married a shepherd one of the sons became a farmer and this is them a generation or two further on still farmers and into haulage, the second pic is of the main man with on the tractor a daughter(second cousin) a student on farming experience, a son(second cousin) and on the left my elbow, not worthy of inclusion by the later to be author(the student) of a book which this photo is from. I have forever been indebted to that farmer nephew of my dad’s, a true mentor to me well into my teens.

Hi Oily, great photos, no fear of getting wound into the pto shaft standing on the drawbar of that big wheel driven binder. I remember being in similar circumstances as a boy at my uncles farm where we all had to get stuck in at harvest time and sometimes getting a sore backside sitting on the iron seat of the binder when put in charge of the machine. It was not such a cushy job as it might appear.
