This one from FB but just love the way they pin striped the side boards on the old trucks which makes em look smart, Buzzer.

I’d need a stairlift to mount that thing now, look at the size of those front wheels, my NEW knees won’t bend far enough to get onto the step.
I saw this, this morning parked up outside our yard
Thanks to Buzzer, LR Man and gazsa401 for the pics

MAN’s are fairly popular down here Patrick. This company runs about 7 of them, including an old Roadhaus version.
The dealerships normally sell them alongside Western Star and Isuzu.
The Melbourne dealership “Westar” is also an agent for Dennis Eagle. Cheers, Colin.
Ta mate! Quite a “exotic” dealership then
Interesting trailers as well…
Cheers, Patrick
Here’s one for the heavy men, Patrick, Danne and anyone who is interested, the Berriedale Braes on the A9 on Sutherland/Caithness border, Scotland, every bit as steep and tight as it looks youtube.com/watch?v=VqU7TKIOEbY#t=73.02932

We ran drill pipe from Norway on that road in the 90s, one lad changed down on the steepest bit and the pipes shot back through the chains!!
Luckily nothing was following closely behind. Although road was closed until the trailer was reloaded, no bill was ever sent to my mate for the
cranage and no prosecution for insecure load either. The pipes were barrel hitched with 6 chains per load, we had been doing the job for a
couple of weeks before that incident without any trouble. When the next batch came in from Norway we fastened rolled sheets across the back
with ratchet straps and chained them again tightening the chains forward. This was a quite awkward as the pipes and trailers were both the same length.
It was a bit scary the next time we had the job to do!!! Regards Kev.
