Slightly unusual motor, but I have seen other pictures and read somewhere else that this type was used on ferries, where length was a cost factor on crossings, anyone out there know more about this. Pics from Wikimedia Commons.

Another fine display Oily, especially the last 3, all my old boss’s, Noel Buntine.

Makes me smile a little ruefully looking at those big sleeper cabs when I remember how we all clustered around a cabover Mack of a visiting OD. I don’t think any of us had seen a sleeper in the flesh before, we all slept in the bulldust underneath the trailer. :unamused: :laughing:

Wish I’d stayed a bit longer- but I couldn’t stay awake. :laughing:

Hi MOC yes the present manufacture of trucks in India with regard to design and power are now making big inroads in to world markets, as is the case with China, Japan, Korea etc. it is little wonder that the previous big players are investing with shared technology in these countries.
