Buzzer:
Did not Graham Cordiner have one of those plates on his high cab Scania 5th wheel way back when Oily, he hailed from Scotland do you remember that truck as he showed it a lot back then, Buzzer.
Cheers for the pic Buzzer don’t know about the 5th wheel but have read bits and bobs about Graham Cordiner hauling south from Crosse and Blackwell in home town Peterhead. Crosse and Blackwell shut up shop in he late 90s, so dunno if Graham kept going or packed it in, must have a look, anyway Graham at work in the video and the guy with the Seddon Atki brick lorry, I think is from Bridgewater way youtube.com/watch?v=g1zd8bS6WFo

Remember talking to Graham at a show he had Cross and Blackwell on the front of the trailer and several great lumps of granite on the rear, when the show was over he carried on with the deliveries, Buzzer.
Thanks to rastone, Jakdaw, servo88 and Buzzer for the pics
To rastone, I well remember the V8 Pilots and how they were whisper quiet on tickover, even taking off compared to anything else at the time.
The Ford 10 pic, nice one looking at the architecture, shrubbery and the half hidden fuel tank complete with breather.
To Jakdaw, no probs with the bin wagon, I snap a few from time to time and make a point of a weekly chat with “our” bin men in the first pic of this lot, they do a sterling job. The gang on the left in the second pic I took it they were being given a sweeper demonstration/training instruction.

Now then, trunker08 has very kindly given me access to his photos of wagons he and others drove, most of which are already posted on the Southampton thread, I (limited capability) will give them a tweak here and there with hopefully enhancement.
This the man himself loaded at Wigan for Branthwaite.

They were taken at Lupin Farm Alrewas and the show will be on again at the end of August. The EJT Pilot belongs to Edwin Tipper and is a beautiful motor. You can put an old threepenny bit upright on the rad. and it will stay upright when the engine ticks over. The Police Pilot used to belong to Ed Wheetman and is taken in the field where the show started and now the show covers two big fields.I think they made 11k for charity last year.
