Great old film Oily ! looked like the Seddon would have had a Perkins engine (P or R ?) either way I should think the Beavers would have been more reliable and I guess the Seddon would have spent a few miles “on the bar” at times on that gruelling job.Pity it was dark when they got to Kendal !! Cheers Dennis.

I think it would be the R6,Dennis the P 6s,s had a Simms fuel pump fitted, Regards Larry.

I have heard the “R” wasn’t exactly a roaring success Larry but they were before my time,I had a few 6:354 engines in the fleet and they were OK and I believe the little 4 cyl Perkins in the Karrier were great little motors but I never ran any of them eh! Cheers Dennis.

Cracking pics from kevmac47 and Stanfield  McKelvies eh, I remember them before they disappeared most likely into TDG, others from that area (Lanarkshire), Sam Anderson of Newhouse and at ■■■■■■■■■■■■ InterCity, all very busy heading south.

From Oz, no badge so I’m thinking Ford… Louisville underneath  , somebody will put me right

A few more from the Flood Relief Project near my home. The piling work is for a huge water collection tank, they are going to dig out a hole 80m x 20m x 8m deep.
This road is used as a rat run so some bad tempers and congestion shortly.

Thanks to kevmav47 for the pics

Snapped in Dingwall today, Wilson McCurdy of Ballymena NI, the trailer is an Italian Micheletto.
