Great photo of this 1948 Motor, I bet it was a treat to drive Eh, What a dollop of a motor to drive Eh, But I must say it would have been very manouverable for getting into many awkward premises,s That were designed for the old Horse & Cart Era, Regards Larry.

I used to work for an Irish transport company, Williames Transport Group, part of (Williames Airfrieght) Williames Containers back in the late 60s early 70s, I worked out of Trafford Park Manchester and hauled Greenmore freight out of Carlingford top of Dublin and Preston docks.

Terrific pics cck, put`s mine in the shade. keep em coming.

Cheers Jacdaw good to see all photos from different parts of the country when you don’t get out much, some of the local wagons you would never get to see
here’s a few more Junction 35A M1

Hi Oily, far be it from me to criticize any other input on this thread, but endless pictures of motorway service scenes and trucks on motorways some of which do not capture the whole truck do nothing for me what so ever. All I ask is for CCK to be a bit more selective with his camera and get individual trucks in focus before pressing the shutter. Maybe I am the only one that follows this particular thread that thinks like this, and I will be shot down in flames. I don’t think that is the case and when I post I do try and find something I think will be of interest to other viewers and you can tell this by subsequent banter after posting such topics. In conclusion it is not my intention to upset any one so I will apologise now if I have. I have through out my life always said what I thought as I think you should speak as you think, Buzzer

Buzzer:
