Second photo in Wales, dunno where, year 1962 and here is my take on the motors, Wolseley, Ford Consul(Cardiff reg) Bedford CA, Minivan, ?, Commer TS3 wagon and front of that a mebbe Scammell Highwayman. I’m ready for other suggestions/corrections :slight_smile:

On the subject of Dennis, a couple I saw at Newark last Sunday, I was pleased to see the Whitbread one in the proper livery as father used to work for them, last year it was in a different livery and the owner told me he was returning it to original.

Hi Stan, I found the pic on flickr about a couple of years ago and when I looked at your avatar, the location triggered me thinking, I have a pic somewhere. bara-koukoug, whose photo it is, no longer has a flickr account and by his real name is a Senior lecturer at Aberystwyth University and lives or did live in Borth.

Hi Oily, the Maltese Dennis with a hiab look’s like one of the ex North West Water wagons which
were made specially for them by Dennis I believe. They were a fully fitted vehicle with everything
that a gang could need when they went to a job but turned out to be white elephants. They
appeared for sale in the back pages of Commercial Motor for months and there was a field full
of them at Bamber Bridge for a long time but they didn’t seem to find many buyers.
