Evening all, hello Pete…
I try not to go into Wolverhampton very often…(I just get depressed)! How long ago did the canopy disappear? Do`nt those cobbles look harmless when they are dry…blooming different when they are wet!!
Yes, you are right, the twin screens do look better…but that is a lovely lorry, just enjoy her as she is!
Cheerio for now.
Hi,Saviem, she stopping exactly as she is,no face lifts for my old girl!! canopy gone prob 20yrs and of course pic took before fire,if you look couple of feet in front of truck at bottom course of bricks you will see top of brick arch, thats the canal tunnel under mill, remember that Saviem before it was filled in and they built my Dads new garage on top of it?,ta,Pete
Quite right Pete, that one piece screen in the Pilot cab is a unique and important feature and must be preserved. As I said in a previous post, one has already been ruined by converting to twin screens on the basis that “it looks older”, although I’ve always said the owner of a vehicle is entitled to do what he likes with it, in this case it’s a shame. The one piece is a “Marmite” thing, you either love it or hate it, I quite like it actually, and that’s coming from the owner of a older Albion with twin screens!

Scammell in front, Atkinson behind, not sure about the van between them (slightly blurred) but the one on the left is a Fordson E83W.
