Hi Oily, seeing the photo of the Portsmouth Corporation Leyland Titan TD4 circa 1934/6 reminds of a holiday at Southsea in 1954 with my parents when we rode on this bus or one of its four other sisters on the sea front service from South Parade Pier to Hayling Island Ferry. Despite spending many years in the bus and coach industry that was the only time I ever rode on top of an opentopper. Much more comefortable down below. I did once drive an identical TD4 with Eastern Coach Works body ex ■■■■■■■■■■ Motor Services on the return run from the Trans Pennine Rally in 1975.
