Ford Cargo in Brazil, thanks to Mateus.

Note in the background (second picture), the original Cargo cab - with some front end refinements - is still being manufactured and marketed. Not bad for a late-70’s penned British design. . . .

Bedford “J” type or a joey as we called them down here, Buzzer.

Hi CWM, I believe the AEC Marshall has recently been sold by its lady owner. A good looking wagon a model I always fancied and was keen to buy one back in 1969, however a very good second hand ERF 66GX came along instead which turned out to be uch more economical and reliable than the Marshall a collegue bought new at the same time.
Cheers Leyland 600.

Hi Oily, seeing the photo of the Portsmouth Corporation Leyland Titan TD4 circa 1934/6 reminds of a holiday at Southsea in 1954 with my parents when we rode on this bus or one of its four other sisters on the sea front service from South Parade Pier to Hayling Island Ferry. Despite spending many years in the bus and coach industry that was the only time I ever rode on top of an opentopper. Much more comefortable down below. I did once drive an identical TD4 with Eastern Coach Works body ex ■■■■■■■■■■ Motor Services on the return run from the Trans Pennine Rally in 1975.
Cheers, Leyland 600

another tidy old Albion, Buzzer.
