Some Fodens tonight
George Bargh of Caton , near Lancaster ,operated this Albion Super Clydesdale on livestock haulage .
When he retired , in the early 1970`s , Alan Thompson took over the business.
Alan retained the colours, and it remains unchanged to this day.

A few more to keep this thread ticking over All from about 1960
The last 2 pics are both coming out of the same place with the big house on the corner, the Foden looks like she has just been started judging by the crap being kicked out, is that a BRS Depot, if so anyone know where?

Not a BRS depot just overnight parking at Blackburn Bros.yard in Godalming Surrey. Also used by English Electric and Jacobs buiscuits. Blackburns ran about 5 coaches, 2 removal vans and 2 Bedford TKs. 1 4wh with container transfering wollen goods to and from S. Wales for Alan Payne. The other was a 6wheeler flat.
That’s a blast from the past John, Hansons of Huddersfield, I think what was their depot is now used by a Tanker firm, ?, Regards Larry.
Hi This is certainly not Moresby House, Howgate, Whitehaven which was the West ■■■■■■■■■■ BRS depot.
Cheers, Leyland 600.
