I was thinking a coach as that looks like a destination board above the screen and lack of tell tale signs of any vents along the top for a horse box. But mind am no often richt so a could be wrang again. Eddie,
I think you are right Eddie, looks like a Duple Viceroy style body but just might be a Harrington, I will have to check.

Alleleys have the train movement market sewn up by the looks of it! The “Isle of Grain” IIRC.
No, Oily not a Duple at all, this quite famous vehicle is an Albion chassis with coachwork by Walter Alexander, built on your doorstep !!! Look at the windscreen angles and the peak very similar to the coach bodies built on Albion Nimbus chassis for Alexanders Midland back in the 1960s.
Cheers Leyland 600.

Hi Leyland600, your’e confusing me now, ( not difficult ), I found the Ecurie Ecosse Commer when looking for more detail on the Duple Viceroy Motorhome, and was not making any connection between the two.

I think this one deserves to be top of any page, last Mon, bumper gimme the nod that Les would be up my way on the Tues, I’d missed him previously, anyway, I was given the time 1 to 2ish on the Black Isle and here he is at 2 mins to 2 heading north and about to cross the Cromarty Firth Bridge, I would say at a nice steady pace, 45ish, the motor is a real credit to the man and thanks Jim(bumper).
