Commers, two in the UK, three in Oz. I remember both the UK firms during my time on the road, Cropper & Colthrop ran paper out of Thatcham Paper Mill.

I,ve never sat behind the wheel of an AEC lorry, plenty times AEC buses and of course the Leyland Bluebird type in the background.

That is a Tiger PS1 that belongs to ■■■■■■■ Classic Coaches of Ravestonedale oilreader, the photo location is Kirkby Stephen East station. Do you know what time the Highland Road Run starts off from Dalmore Distillery on Saturday morning ?
Cheers, Leyland 600
Yon MM looks ready to do a weeks work. Fine machine. The half cab Leyland looks very tidy.
I’m glad to say I’ve driven both types in my time. I never struggled with the AEC steering as much as I did with say…an Octopus or an ERF (non power assisted). I once had a non power EFR artic, reversing it in to a tight spot was a nightmare, no such problem with an AEC.
