Hi bumper,I drove one of these Morris Commercials when I was 17.A builder I worked for in Kington,Herefordshire had two of them from new.The same colour as the one in the pic.Get three blokes sat in one,it was tight.
Cheers Dave.Hi, I’ve got one of the Austin badged versions (Austin 301) of this Morris except it the double rear wheel version, very rare only badged as an Austin for several months during the BMC merger, seen a three single wheel Austins but no other twins, my dad bought it to restore been sat in one of my workshops for nearly 40 years looks like it will end up down to me to get it back on the road.
I drove one on milk churn collection for Hereford Dairies for a while in the early '60s.
This fleet always impresses me, the colour scheme IMO is the way a vehicle should look. I’m not keen on bling or tarting the motor up like a ■■■■■’s caravan. I was loading in their depot when I took these shots, it is immaculate.
Very friendly helpful crew. Regards Kev.

Hi kevmac, Duncan Hill always ran a very tidy fleet mainly AEC Mercury and Marshalls for many years, after he retired the company name was carried on by a farming family which acquired the company a good few yearsa ago now.
Cheers Leyland 600
Hi I think the Foden DHH 74 was one of two operated by Thomas Niven, Timber Merchant, Carlisle, I remember they were very slow flat out at about 28mph, I recall almost running unto the back of one on the A75 west of Dumfries one morning after it dissappeared round a sharp bend under a railway bridge, I cought up with it rapidly in my ERF 66GX at about 52 mph and got a shock when it had not progressed very far round the blind bend.
Cheers, Leyland 600

Here’s a couple more from the same day L600, I spotted the 93m in the building next to where I was loading, it’s not the best shot I have ever taken but I was a bit restricted for space. Regards Kev.
Thanks to Basilbrush and oiltreader for the kind comments , and for Ronnie Cameron`s photographs.
