Sat nav error, or just plain stupidity ?
I’d go for stupidity, Sure, sat navs can cause problems for big motors but whoever was driving shouldn’t have just kept going when it started getting a bit tight and it must have started long before he got the thing into that situation. Hell, he should have looked and said “no chance”
Did he honestly think the trailer was going to follow round that corner?

Not a great photo, But never the less an Albion 723 BBB, Baxters Road Services based on the Quayside Newcastle upon Tyne with one of Cawthorns coach built cabs, Regards Larry.
That’s a brilliant photo of the period, it says a lot about then and now. The freedom of bairns playing safely outside unlike today when most likely their equivalent will be planted in front of a telly at that age.
…anyway the topic is Albion and thanks to Ronnie Cameron here’s another two.

Hi Oily, The Albion milk wagon of The North of Scotland Milk Marketing Board would later become The Claymore Dairy I think. I have seen a photo of a couple of Commers at this location. They had a dairy in Kirkwall untill about 1998 or thereabouts, changed its name to The Orkney Cheese Company.

Hi, I’ve got one of the Austin badged versions (Austin 301) of this Morris except it the double rear wheel version, very rare only badged as an Austin for several months during the BMC merger, seen a three single wheel Austins but no other twins, my dad bought it to restore been sat in one of my workshops for nearly 40 years looks like it will end up down to me to get it back on the road.

Hi Leyland600, Claymore were the main milk processors in the Highland area when I arrived here in '96, the Co-op, I think were also involved in distribution. Claymore headquarters were in Nairn and still there but bought out or taken over by Grahams. There is also involvement of Arla (Milk and or dairy products) in this area but I have no idea who really owns what. Orkney Cheese Company was featured on local telly a wee while ago and I think started as and still is a Orkney Dairy Farmer’s Co-operative venture.
A Graham’s Merc pic.

Edit…another milk distributor in the Highlands are, freshnlo (Wisemans) supplier to Tesco
