Knowing this is a bit off course for Oily’s thread but what gloom do we have to face in the immediate future now with Richie & Sajid both gone what hope for the future. I understand peoples mistrust of the personal in government we have running our country and we certainly deserve better, for sure if they were heading a transport company today they would have fallen by the wayside. We need change PDQ as we are falling apart here with high fuel prices which have a massive knock on effect on most consumables as they are transported by our Industry & costs are passed inevitably on to the public.
Just felt I needed to air this subject as there are many wise contributors here, I suppose being of an age where it does not over worry me as I have seen hard times over the years and still come through it but surely we can do better, sorry again but we are in a sad state of repair and heading for the scrap heap fast, Buzzer.

even without the country being led by journalist that is economical with truth and a former Bullingdon club member to boot, we are heading up a creak on a spring tide. I don’t think we are alone as a country, the whole of world with fiat currencies have been heading that way for a long time.
Dare I mention the B word Buzzer? I will say no more on that except to say that I, and no one I know buys anything at all from the UK anymore. Some have tried and end up with demands on the doorstep for customs dues and handling charges. Sad but true. There is one thing that I can buy freely though, download books for my Kindle, thank goodness for small mercies. 
No pleasure for me to say so, we both have many family members, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in England and know full well how hard life is.
