Probably at the same time (1960 for this one), Citroën produced the 23.50 4x4. Rather similar look…pyewacket947v:

Just found this picture of the A562 near Widnes, on the Bootle Times Forum.
Apparently, it happened at 6.35 this morning. It looks like what was an 8 wheeler.Ray Smyth.
Has the driver noticed ? Is he coming back for it ?. Bet it rattled his teeth for him Ray
Thankfully, if he was wearing a belt, he had no more than a shock. Many years ago in Derby I saw a breakdown lorry try to get under a low bridge. The crane hit the bridge but did not separate, instead the front of the wagon was jerked upwards crushing tha cab completely. The driver did not survive.
I wonder if in this case the separation was sudden with the impact or if someone came out with a hot spanner. Whichever it was, waiting for it to be removed safely and damage to the gantry, obviously closed that motorway for the duration.
Similar in this area with a farm owned tipper on the A127 near Southend on Sea. It was thought the driver had left the pto engaged and then perhaps moved the tipping spool lever. Passed under a foot bridge which was taken off the stanchions and crushed the cab.
