Isle of South Uist Outer Hebrides and fridge on shellfish collection, no doubt eventually en route across the channel. The tarmac can be quite narrow in places and mostly very soft off it, max attention at all times.

One of my proudest boasts is that in my long career I managed to avoid that. Lots of horrible stuff, but never that.

Empty bins from Fawley to Avonmouth IIRC, and full ones back. Ropes on a flatbed, Normally clean, but any spills would spread everywhere because it is such a fine dust.
Seem to remember a bulker running from Avonmouth into South Wales with a manway open?? 1980’s? Left a trail of filth.
.
Oh well, wrong year, and wrong direction
