So proud of my youngest daughter today as she passed her LGV test, she’s always wanted to take it ever since her early teens & even before then she would help me wash my lorry. Congratulations Vicky. Just got to do it all again in an artic now.
Congratulations, So good to see someone realise their dream.
Dave…
Well done to Vicky from me as well, I reckon that a proper driver must have taught her well! Does Gavin do driver training then?

They make heavy agricultural machinery. I think it is some sort of ■■■■ gret muck or slurry spreader!

I think Oily is on about the trailer, Steve, it looks like a centre axle drag, but I can’t see the join. Can’t believe it is one of those telescopic drawbars we used to have in France.
The foreshortening of the photo angle makes it look one piece but if you look there is a white square with a front marker light below, that’s the front of the drag, you can see the orange rear marker on the rear of the Wagon too, the angle just makes the gap between wagon and drag almost disappear. Franky.
Hi Spardo and Frankydobo the answer between you could be the photo angle or maybe close couple for legal running.

It’s an optical illusion and the type of platform, but basically it’s just a wagon and drag (drawbar) with centre axle trailer
They make an excellent job of all their restorations. That’s an Austin FFK, the box van ‘Herman’ they they did a few years ago is languishing alongside the southbound A38 at the closed Bell Bridge Garage near Fradley and looks rather tatty now.

Oily There is a Peter MCallum Atkinson parked along side part of the late Tyson Burridge’s collection of vintage wagons. This was a genuine member of the McCallum fleet and ended up operating in Tyson’s fleet. Here it is taking part in the ■■■■■■■ Trunk Run at Carnforth Truck Stop in 2015.

Can’t beat a split screen atki. I’m too young to have driven one so can’t comment, but they look great. I remember proctor’s fair near me as a kid running old D and F plates.
