I was at the petrol station buying a sandwich for my lunch and could not believe the queue for petrol.
I seen a guy getting back into his vehicle so I shouted “It’s ■■■■■ like you that cause this panic buying”
He just drew me a dirty look as he drove off in his fuel tanker
HAIRYGORILLA:
went to morrisons today for the shopping as you do they they where all panic buying i saw a guy with his hands full of gingsters( or anyother reputable pastie that one can buy at a garage )
Gingsters…Is that a red pasty?
I stopped at the Tesco garage in Thirsk and all their pumps were empty
I forgot to go to the Morrisons in Boroughbridge as being out all week my mind was set on getting home
Mind you, half a tank has lasted a month, but I always fill it up when it gets to half empty anyway…

Get on the planet mate
Spent 25 minutes today in queue to fill my van with diesel. The Morrisons garage was full of these people:
Next to me there was some Scottish guy who told me how he was in Poland in 1980 and witnessed these fuel queues there:
He laughed: you needed 40 years of communism to get to where we are after just one stupid comment from our goverment.
That was fun (at least for me).
How does this happen? - All petrol stations in this area are now dry. Since they are dry, all the pumps are covered over and the shop remains only open for Ginjalf’s pasties or whatever.
Now it’s a day later, no car can buy, so the sales must have dropped to zero right?
Now since there’s no strike on, there have been the normal daily deliveries to the stations right?
So how come they’re all still empty, AND there’s no sign of any tankers ANYWHERE for the past 24 hours in this neighbourhood? (Medway)
Did the mass sickie start whilst I wasn’t looking?
Here’s another one for you… I can understand Newport Pagnell last night being out of derv for HGV’s as the sign put it, but tonight I hear that some fleet yards in the manchester/warrington/stoke area are running dry too!
Now how does that work? Surely you derv your wagon at the end of each duty run, so how exactly does the demand from the bunker increase to the point it runs dry at the depot?
UNLESS deliveries have ceased?!
Has a strike started on the Chatsworth estate?
