correct taffy boy.
Unless it’s changed since I was there, it’s flat rate per day, but don’t go expecting that same flat rate if you book holidays cos you’ll be disappointed! Ditto Saturday mornings. The only way I could make it pay was to get the nights out in, I live near Carmarthen too so the commuting soon adds up if you’re on days.
As said the kit’s fairly decent and if you do your job OK they don’t hassle you. They do have a tendency though to lay drivers off; about 50 went last November but perhaps they’ve got another contract or two since.
Have they still got any of those ex-Sainsbury Foden 4000 units they bought a few years ago? Spent many happy days driving those around London when they were new, and afterwards once the clutch brakes started to wear badly

yea and if doing day work expect to be ‘rescued’ once a month or so or end up driving the yard van back from where you run out of hours
