Do you think people should get their hgv licenses revoked for rollovers and bridge strikes?

Bridge strikes? Yes - no excuse for being incompetent.
Rollovers? Not necessarily. Depends on circumstances. Sometimes it’s not all the driver’s fault.

Do you think that it’s impossible for you to throw one over?

well i’ve carried most things, including hanging. they don’t throw themselves over.
it’s not impossible. if i drove like a complete ■■■, then i reckon i could get one to go over.

slimey, you’re so full of yourself and judgemental. :unamused: :unamused: You’re just a BSer, what with you imaginary job at Nolans and constant “I’ve done this and I’ve done that” BS some of your posts are a joke. :unamused: Saddo.

I missed a junction once but just as the truck was going over I shouted that the next junction will do - and then the truck straightened up… :stuck_out_tongue:

i don’t work for nolans. i did 2 trips.
i take it from your post, you think that because i have been to a few places, never rolled a truck, and never hit a bridge, then it must me BS.
you must think that rolling trucks, and hitting bridges is part of the job. well i think you’re on your own on that one.

Nah, you need to learn to read slimey, I never said anything of the sort
It’s you and you’re so ‘I’m perfect’ and never put a foot wrong BS. I don’t believe a word about you working for Nolans.

i’m not perfect, far from it.
i just don’t hit bridges, and i don’t roll trucks.
i learn from others, and admit when i’m wrong.
i’m sure you have a vast amount of experience, which will put me and others to shame.

Ok, have you ever been caught out on an unfamiliar road by corner that tightens up or one just over a crest? You know the type when you say that was a bit fast or that was lucky, I doubt every driver hasn’t had one of those moments.

The missing a junction comment was meant to be about the bridge strike being incompetent comment

You don’t know why the truck went over, but there you are, slagging the Driver off, it’s easy to do on a keyboard without all the facts., isn’t it. :smiling_imp:

Did anyone else notice the interesting line ‘It’s a shame the docks are so near residential areas.’
Now, I wonder which was there first…?

Yea, how inconsiderate putting the Docks right near a Residential area, whoever did that should get their P45

i knew what you meant.
i have had a few close calls, usually down to wrong addresses. but sometimes the transport is arranged by pillocks that have no common sense.
like being told which way to get to a site by the customer, only for me to tell him i can’t, as there is a low bridge.
if i get an unfamiliar address, then i check a map. i don’t just go at it, and hope for the best.
