I like that Dark Diamond apart from the visor lights… Which leaves me thinking… That red one is the best looking truck on the fleet I reckon.
With all these flagships, do you actually consider any one of your motors to be THE flagship?
Won’t be a true flagship till there’s a T-Cab in there!
T-Cab… Not really our style… Old & dated in my opinion !!! = And Backing it on to some of the bays in Rungis meat market would be a nightmare !!!
That would be a challenge.
I saw your dark diamond a few weeks ago on the m6 and I have to say it really did look smart.
Is sooty driving it ■■
Okey-Didley-Dokely:
What are all you sad [zb] going to do now to get up, engine ate getting smaller producing more torque.
We have a new 450 at work that can out pull a V8 scanny easy.
I can just imagine yous lot, sat on the train with your ■■■■■ in your hand telling each other how small your engine is.
Sad [zb]? Pot calling kettle black. I’ll give you a race in your new 450, and to make it fair you can be empty and I’ll be loaded to 40 tonnes.
Now hows that for some willy waving
I raced our fh700(or drove along the m62 once really) and he was loaded and I was empty,I went passed him just past birch services and he didn’t come past me up windy hill but did pass me down the other side(weight pushing him on),I then caught and passed him before I eventually pulled off to go to get my collection,I was in a fh 700,v8 620,v8 730 ,no I was in a little old g400,what made the difference was mine was limited higher so was faster on the flat,if we were loaded the same I wouldn’t of seen him once we got to windy hill, but you run a low hp truck empty it should just about run the limiter most places so if the limiters set higher than the big hp motor I’m not so sure you’d win your race, like for like loaded yes I’d agree,a low hp motor is never going to be a match for big hp,but a empty lh motor against a heavy hp I think the limiter would be the deciding factor in that race, well that’s my opinion.
as for www trucks, very nice, makes me very envious, drove our fh700 and it didn’t do much for me to be honest, just like any other Volvo, but the sound of those v8,s,bit special, best of luck to you
It really is not that big hill. Something for the boys to talk about maybe
This is on one of my favorite roads
10% as you start to climb from sea level in Norway up to 762m over the sea (if I remember right) on the Swedish side after the highest point you can coast if you are lucky for 20-25min except for a short press on the gas after 5min

spectron:
It wasn’t about the hill. It was more to do with power differences between wagons.
Ok, then we take it an other way, that’s one of the reasons for HP, try those hills with 420, 440 480, I have, don’t want them again.
Brilliant Video, Thanks. I have a few heading to Norway this weekend. 1 to Olso, 1 to Stravanger and maybe 1 to Narvik !!!
My drivers would love to tackle hills like that to really test the V8 engine !!
