I’ve yet to see a perfect driver on the roads, I’ve seen some very calm ■■■■■ driving. But I’m in agreement about some of the points raised about driving style and being calm but I think some constructive grown up criticism is better than personal jibes.
Distance is key though, I have to agree with that. It will be safer and make for a more relaxed and enjoyable drive. I can follow people for miles without touching my brakes once and yet everyone bunched up ahead is braking all the time.

With respect I think that’s a bit of a silly comment - there are a lot of professional drivers on here who are very considered careful thinking ahead drivers. In essence what they are saying is true, I just disagree with the way it’s been said. I would rather encourage someone to be better with constructive criticism, than they close their YouTube account and just became another hidden horror statistic waiting to happen.

By no means perfect kidda, but I’m fairly certain most here don’t drive about the country willing an accident to happen so as to get it on a poxy dash-cam and get some youtube likes.
When you grow up, you too will realise the difference between a driver and dash-cam drama queen.
Now, if you don’t mind, run along and find a corner to sulk in, the grown ups are talking.

But seriously Jay will be back once he realises when going for internet stardom some critique is inevitable, especially from ones peers who have made these ■■■■ ups already and learnt from them. To be fair he handles the truck very well, a bit of aggression control and he will be as good as the rest of us perfect truckers.

I also wish him well, but sometime people need their mistakes pointing out to them otherwise they just carry on without thinking about it.
I’m sure all of us have made plenty of mistakes, but the biggest mistake a driver can make, and the one you should never make, is to not recognise the faults in your driving and learn from them.

If he had any sense he took them down or changed his settings so his employer didn’t catch on to them.
There was fairly damning footage for a P45 in the post if ever I saw it.
My only regret was that its all disappeared before Contraflow watched it. 
Not the first dashcam hero, to feature on here, whose videos suddenly disappear.

Weather was abit ■■■■■ though mind. Still, I guess there was always Maccy D’s Happy meals with those little toys and paper hats inside to keep him occupied.
