and if you have to be towed then be prepared to take it off or get it ruined.as mr vain is painfully aware.there aren’t many underlifts low enough to pre lift that without squashing the bar flat, especially in a rush job.
i love the picture on the back of the tanker.i’ve been behind it in traffic a few times,is there more than one of them or is it unique?
That’s unique mate. The former owner/driver had for years had that same mural painted onto the back of the tank every time he replaced it.
Eyecatching though I agree.
hears some old tanker anker pics for you mr T

hiya,
NO THANK YOU, hated tanker work.
thanks harry long retired.
Back in the days before Truck Shows and fancy cleaners, I would use shoe polish on the engine cover and rubber mats of my D series or Dodge Commando, not even dust behind or under the seats of a 6 year old wagon.
Now why couldn’t I have found an employer to supply me with kit as good as these …
GOOD ON YA Mr Tab’

Most blokes that car’nt do tanker work say that…
hiya,
jody the type of tanker work i did was a doddle, stick the filler in the front filler /vent port turn on the water fill till it runneth over close the filler /vent take to unloading point open top produce sample if OK pump off to return to loading point and repeat great easy job but just too boring for me could’nt be doing with the repitition.
thanks harry long retired.
Stick the filler in the front filler■■? what the @$£k■■? sounds like you were running the bath harry not doing tanker work
Don’t see how you could hate tanker work when you obviously have no understanding of it from your above statement
Think jody1980 was correct… Another worthless gem of a comment on this thread from
harry ’ hiya…thanks long retired’ gill
hiya,
Running the bath was more technical than the tanker work i did and more exciting.
thanks harry long retired.
hiya,
If there’s anyone on here who is still speaking to me, i would sincerely like to bid you all the Seasons Greetings and a very prosperous New Year.
thanks harry long retired.
