I’ve just put a Schwalbe “Fat Albert” on the front of My mountain bike I got it cheap so thought I’d give it a go after using Maxxis tyres normally, I’m not looking for economy from it though, just to keep Me semi upright in the mud
On a side note I had a blowout on the mountain bike I think it was a combination of broken glass and my fat arse been on the saddle for the first time in a few weeks.

I’m liking the varied thread a lot, kind of like got a life of its own, in fact if you had any sence you wouldnt “own” a truck so no point in posting pictures of them

I’ve just sold this one in the uk, a Santa Cruz Nomad, I was’nt keen on the green anodized paint but luckily I bought it cheapish in Santa Monica…
Christ, I’d need a crowbar to prise that saddle from my crack.

Now that’s a serious bit of kit, my Boardman is a playbike & no more, I ride with my son when he goes for a run & go on the Cheshire Lines which is the closest I get to trail riding. I do enjoy it though!!
Take yourselves over to oneplanetadventure @ Llandegla forest near Ruthin Ross, you will thank me for it, do the blue trail as a starter only take you an hour but you’ll be back for more, I took Joe Screen ex Belle Vue Aces etc He loved it, most blokes who have ridden motorbikes I’ve taken rave about it, if you don’t like it which is doubtfull the cafe is smashing!!!
The Guy who bought it has it for racing in the alps, it was too much for Me really but the downhills where like being in an arm chair, I’ve got a Yeti 575 now which is a nice bike & funnily enough I bought it second hand & its the only one I’ve kept. Off to Cuyuana on My hols next weekend just wish I had lost some pudding before\ I go, got a week there on the trails, probably will have lost some by the time I get home.
I have now got an I-shift in My new truck & think its garbage just to keep the thread on course for the padlock

Automated box’s are the work of the Devil!!!
I’ve got a week off soon so I’ll get there with my 12yr old son & give it a go, funny you should mention Joe Screen cos a good mate of mine also used to ride for Belle Vue (Declan Eccles) & he’s ‘right into’ his ‘downhill’ & has spent thousands on his bike, in fact he paid more for a rear shock than my bike cost!! He’s got a place @ a ski resort in Eastern France & they use a ‘black run’ in the summer for downhill biking.
