hiya,
Hows this for a bit of cheek got a quote before Christmas to get the living carpet cleaned, he was too busy at the time and got the job done yesterday and Ā£10 more than he’d originally quoted, I had the original amount in my pocket and had to nip to the corner shop to get some extra cash, now here’s the crunch, when I asked him why the extra tenner he said it was the additiomal overheads electricity etc, cheeky git had plugged his bleedin machine into my wall plug, and he asked for the extra tenner with a straight face, I couldn’t keep my a straight face I’ll tell you.
thanks harry long retired.

Comm’on play the game lads, we have had our quoter of snow 4" last time, almost cleared it up.   Then we have had another dose of 1/2", so please keep it up north where it belongs, :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: you got the dales, yorkshire moors, Durham, Newcastle, and the rest of Scotland, and also plenty of space in Wales.   So leave little old Northampton snow free! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Harry, you missed his point about electricity,   His bills have gone up!   Gas & elect, so he needed the extra tenner to pay for it. He most likely heard you give to Ladbrokes.

hiya,
It’s quite pleasant here at the moment roads dry and clear of snow also not freezing at the moment,
the IOM isn’t the only place in the UK that is semi-tropical, if this keeps up the travel agencies will
be listing Chester Le Street as a must visit tourist hot-spot, am thinking of having a swimming pool
installed in the rear garden ready for when the weather turns totally tropical and turn our drum into
a mini hotel, could clean up eh’.
thanks harry lon retired.

Cheers Dave.

Well its blooding freezing here, I sent my wife to get some washing in & it was frozen to the clothes line, so this calls for drastic measures Im afraid, We will have to make them large ones, Regards Larry.

Harry should have gone to" Specsavers", he is still in his new bathroom,   and he has just finished off a bottle of malt,   and he got alittle hot under the collar and his glasses got a bit misty!   But no one tell him, :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: he deserves a little happiness in his later years! I done years of travelling to Scotland and a lot in the winter, and it was always 10/15 degree’s colder than at home. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: When I started off, I felt it getting colder soon as I past Leicester, then Derby, little more at Sheffield unless the furnaces was working, by the time I got to Harry’s area I had got a extra layer of clothes on. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:     Scotland and the wind chill factor, I got my load dropped as quick as I could, so I could return to warmer climate.
