Harry’s tales of poverty are a sham, he bought me a whiskey (irish) at the “do” last saturday, his wallet was bulging with cash. Havn’t seen those white fivers since I was a nipper, Queen Vic was really blinking when he let the light in. Ps i’m 65 next year, still plodding up and down the road. Pps There a picture of the old codger on the N E thread at the “do”, its the first one I posted, he’s on the right next to another local millionaire George Walton.

Nice to be appreciated Dave but that does’nt lessen the impact of feeling nearer 85 than 75 but ther’es not a lot i can do about that other than keep taking the medication oh and the tablets as well.

It seems as though with me being a very sensitive soul I am going to have to develop a very thick skin so my feelings do not get upset ( I am sure I had some once ) but I do get a warm glow inside maybe thats is from the malt :exclamation: :wink: :laughing:

I would like to apologize for lying as I have just been told that a corpse is more sensitive than I am by Mrs. Always Right and I did not realize that anyone was having a go at me :unamused: :wink: or giving stick in my direction :wink: :laughing:
