Hi boys
It’s no wonder the government takes so much tax out of us WORKING men It’s to pay for all you lot living it up
The problem is by the time i’m 65 the retirement age will be going up. Will I ever catch up to be able to retire myself or will I have to work till I snuff it

You keep working Keith, all us old buggers on here need blokes like you to pay up so we can have a well earned retirement. Anyway,my dodgy night out money is nearly exhausted so I need all the cash I can get.

65 next March and have just found this oh so wonderful site called “Trucknet” I think its called, apparently there are a lot of “therapists” on this site who are always willing to give help and advice to anyone who is “winding down” toward their 65th birthday and a well earned retirement beyond!!! They also run a number of rest homes up and down and even beyond these shores(IOM & Brittany) Their help and advice should prove invaluable over the coming months I’m sure! (well thats what my district nurse tells me!) Cheers —whats my name to-day Nurse?— could you spell that please or is there only 4 letters in it?----
Plenty of rest homes in the IOM Dennis,do you want some brochures?
There’s other rest homes as well…for ex tram hosses.
Hi Chris,

Chris Webb:
I was 66 a couple of weeks ago so 45 seems to have been a exceptional year for the crème de la crème
cheers Johnnie
And I thought you were a war baby like me Sammie,it were nearly all ovver when you were born and no National Service either - you young 'uns don’t know yer born.
I was a war baby Chris in fact Hitler topped is sen when he found out I had graced this world that is the reason it concluded so quickly.
Looks like most of us were born in the 40s then.Dennis you are 5 month older than me so we will be drawing the pension around the same time next year.I wont know what to do with all that money the goverment have promised us.

Harry’s tales of poverty are a sham, he bought me a whiskey (irish) at the “do” last saturday, his wallet was bulging with cash. Havn’t seen those white fivers since I was a nipper, Queen Vic was really blinking when he let the light in. Ps i’m 65 next year, still plodding up and down the road. Pps There a picture of the old codger on the N E thread at the “do”, its the first one I posted, he’s on the right next to another local millionaire George Walton.
If you think about it, it is not fair: you are born, enjoy the love and care of your parents, then you have to go to school and then to work to pay off your debts and save up for for few years of retirement and at the end you die…
It should be the other way round: you rise from the dead first. Then you enjoy your retirement, build up strength to work and earn money for your studies (and student life). Then nursery and endless care of your parents. And finally you end up as an ■■■■■■!
