Once a year the Day Centre for the elderly put on a show and this year it was the Amazing Claude a hypnotist of wide repute who started of by saying âunlike most hypnotists I will not be inviting individuals on stage, I will hypnotise each and and everyone one of you in your seatsâ He produced a beautiful gold pocket watch and chain and said " I want you all to watch carefully" and began to gently swing the watch back and forth and in mellowed tone he said âYou will now feel drowsy and drift away into a deep sleep and on my command you will wake againâ
The chain broke and the watch smashed on the floorâŚClaude shouted s**t.
It took 3 days to clean up the Day Centre

I saw the first picture and thought I was in for a treat, but didnât recognise a lot of those cars.
I have a Pommie mate who loves those CA Bedfords though, heâs restoring a rare (here) Series Land Rover with a Dormobile back. It needs to be finished in time for a trip we have planned, to Cooma next Easter, to celebrate Land Roverâs 75th.
