I have just received this report and it is so important that I have posted it immediately it did not say where it was carried out but some people will have a good idea of where and by whom.

A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Health and the
Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 23% of traffic accidents
are alcohol related.

This means that the remaining 77% are caused by ■■■■■■■■ who drink
bottled water, starbucks, soda, juice, energy drinks, and ■■■■ like
that.
Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol. They cause three
times as many accidents. :unamused:

cheers Johnnie

Hadn’t given it a lot of thought until you pointed it out Chris.Yes Douglas would have the rest of the island to the west of it and be sheltered from the rougher winds.Do you get much rough weather on the I O M ?
Cheers Dave.

Sorry about this Chris, but the Board of Trade inspector at Heysham wouldn’t let us sail ‘cause I didn’t have a full crew, and what I did have were all “■■■■■■ as newts” and layed int’ bottom of’t boat.My chief mate “H” refused to chance his luck over the A66 at Bowes and my B’osun, J.T. said “ditto” over Woodhead, but he had already said that if he couldn’t be’t Rum Tankie on board he didn’t fancy’t trip anyroad. You just can’t get the staff/crew nowadays and Steam Racket aren’t much better either, there’s nowt wrong wi’t Bow Thruster on’t Viking ship,it’s a 20ft barge Pole !!! Cheers Dennis.

Have you been watching nature Dave i.e. Spiders on walls and Robins flying backwards ect. on which to base your weather forecast for the coming week? There used to be an old bloke up in the Yorkshire dales or Wolds who could predict the weather accurately, have you taken over from him then? Cheers Dennis.

Cheers Dave.

Dave I am not brave enough to call it the boring day as I would be in the deepest [zb] anyone could ever imagine

I put the tree up early this year ( yesterday ) and Bren says do you know those lights are 25 years old and some baubles we have had for 45 years saying I was a tight git but I replied I am just careful and look after things and that I do not replace things when they are still in working order i.e… like you and then beat a very sharp retreat into the spare room on elf and safety grounds.  :unamused: :unamused:

Well I am defiantly under 60 but not saying by how much

Not a lot ang, you gave me a clue.   I came out of the army in 1958 and I think it was 1961/2 when N/S finished,   I will be generous and say if it was 61 you born in 62 you would be 50 years old. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

But I also gave another clue a bit earlier if you look

you got me thinking ange , i reckon ns finished in 1958 or 9 , i was 18 in 1960 and i missed it . that would make you a mere young slip of a lass , are you sure your son is old enough to be in edinburgh on his own ? ( nips smartly out of firing line )
