Don’t panic Chris,I’m just about to launch and we’ll be off on’t late tide mate !! I’ve had a hell of job getting a crew to-gether this 'after I’ll tell you, the’er all “■■■■■■ up” in Smokies at the moment, but when I turn’t bow int’t wind round bottom end of Walney and shout “PULL you [zb]” that’ll blow’t cobwebs out of 'em !! Now this cargo,I’ve had a bit of ajob getting it together but I hope the manifest will be to your liking !! 5 X Barrels of Stones’s Bitter, one jar of Pickled eggs, two trays of Balm cakes,a side of Bacon and a dozen boxes of Yorkshire tea and 5 doz eggs !! There might only be 3 barrels of Stone’s on board when we get there but we’ll have beaten’t Steam Racket no danger !! Cheers Dennis.
Eyup Dennis, thanks for that,I’ll watch out fer t’boat, don’t let the buggers land at Ramsey or Laxey,I live in Douglas and will put an illuminated AEC triangle in t’winder, flashing three times every 30 seconds.Try and keep all t’Stones Bitter and t’pickled eggs in one piece, they’ll go down well with a fried Oystercatcher and a leg of Herring Gull!! Mek sure t’boats got it’s leets on or t’Manx police will be waiting with t’breatherlizer and there’s one or two ships parked up in t’bay so be careful tha dunt bump one.

Pete I feel old, I have been to the Podiatrist to check my feet and she told me my sensation in my feet is poor, I said dear the sensation in other places has been poor for years. But she said I have been sticking needle in your feet and you cannot feel it, you are at risk, if you damage your feet you could lose them, well I will have to take care of them,I have done a good job for nearly 75 years, no hard skin no she said just like a baby’s bottom, well gal what are you moaning about!

A mate of mine was 62 today…he’s 2 to 10 tomorrow.
I’ll get me coat…
Hope you got plenty of grub in your house Chris, cos them old steam packet boats won’t be running much in the bad weather
Cheers Dave.
Ferry just departed Douglas for Heysham, didn’t sail for last two trips and won’t sail tomorrow.Normally she sails in all weathers but has a u/s bow thruster which makes her a handful to turn round in windy conditions. She’s booked in to have a new one fitted in dry dock Birkenhead on 16th December. You can hear the old Manx buggers over here saying that the old ships sailed in all weathers but there wasn’t the H and S shi*e in those days.
Just found this on the shipping forum…
Tesco and M and S run out very quickly as they don’t have warehouses, not like Shoprite and Co-op. I’ve been told that there were 35 Tossco trailers waiting at Heysham earlier this week.I did the shopping this morning and all the shelves were full at Shoprite but it was busy, appen a bit of panic buying. All bollo**s.
Just done the repair, just wire the cash through Chris and we will load her up with some goodies for you .
Cheers Dave.

Dave I am not brave enough to call it the boring day as I would be in the deepest ■■■■ anyone could ever imagine
I put the tree up early this year ( yesterday ) and Bren says do you know those lights are 25 years old and some baubles we have had for 45 years saying I was a tight git but I replied I am just careful and look after things and that I do not replace things when they are still in working order i.e… like you and then beat a very sharp retreat into the spare room on elf and safety grounds.
cheers Johnnie
