Try lying with your head at the foot of the bed Brian. Your hair might grow back. :bulb:
Cheers Dave.

Hmm I was once told,   a man who is bald at the back of his head is a thinker, a man who is bald at the front is ■■■■, :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: and a man who is bald all over! hiya,
Norm what category do I fall under, I’ve got loads of hair but choose to be a
skinhead by choice, as soon as I can feel my hair out comes the leccy shears
and the pate is transformed to be as smooth as a baby’s bottom, it does a
lot for my love life too I have to fight the women off, oh’ no that Yul Brynner.

Today I was watching my racing on the TV, and a car had pulled up, and a old mate from Florida had come to visit me, he was on Bulwark on the old Seddon’s when we pulled the old skellie tankers for Carlsberg, he was stopping in Coventry where his son now lives. Just shows you, if your mates, they never forget you.

Old mates like that are what makes the world a better place. Like yourself I have a lot of good mates who call in and keep in touch. Did hear of an old mate from my driving days going to the transport yard in the sky this morning.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Just got into contact with an old pal of mine from my days at Bowkers,
the last time we was running together was about 45 years ago, quite a
pleasant surprise seeing that lots of my former workmates from when I
lived in the North West are no longer with us. Thanks TNUK.

Like yourselves most of my old work mates are either retired or passed on. Some are still working on after 65.
Several have their own motors or run small fleets. Got a few that say they are packing it up, but I’ll believe it when I see them do it.
Cheers Dave.

Dave & Harry, the problem is that some men only have work in thier life. And they are lost when they cannot do it anymore. Same when a couple live in each other Pocket they too don’t know what to do if either pass. On.

Very true Norm. That wouldn’t be the case with me,as I have plenty of interests. Not that it applied to me. My full time working life ended abruptly in an RTA many years ago. I still do my bit of part-time as a CPC holder with some operators which subsidies my income.
Cheers Dave.

Yes I am still trying to suppliment my income,   but at the moment it is not working,   some one keeps nobbling my horses! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :astonished: :astonished: :astonished: :astonished:

Harry, you and Norm can invest your money where you want. I can’t preach about investing money. I just keep buying vehicles which just depreciate.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Investments I’ve no problems there, this lot we have at the helm have made
sure people with only a little bit to spare which years ago would have made
you a few bob if invested isn’t worth putting into a bank the interest rates
are so poor you are almost paying the banks to look after your money.

hiya,
In my opinion selling off the Post Office is a travesty and should be stopped
the BBC though in my opinion should become privatised what with all those
robbers and hangers-on lining their pockets and some of the crap we are
given er’ paying for via the licence fee is atrocious there’s a programme on
in the morning “starring” and I say that very loosely, three old boilers, they
are Julia Somerville, Angela Rippon and Gloria Hunniford, they have more
wrinkles than a hundredweight of old prunes, at least the Beeb could give us
a bit of eye candy for our money, they are only repeating what the experts
have already said a parrot could do their job and for a lot less money.
