I wonder does Johnnie have a smell of paraffin about him in the winter Harry.
I can quite believe you trying anything to keep warm in the winter.I travelled with my dad in lorries with no heater.Only a lorry nuts kid would do that .

A very happy birthday to you Dave, and loads more of em’ I’ve sent my birth certificate back so won’t be having any more birthdays never thought could have put the marriage cert in the same envelope and become single again as well as saving on postage that’s what happens when you get old you tend to forget important issues.

dave, dennis and animal are only youngsters johnnie , but i don’t think you are far behind me . in yours , harry’s and larry’s case you are only as old as the bottle you are supping from really . my family are a sadistic shower , they called in at teatime with my birthday present , a new power washer ! margaret will have me out in the cold tomorrow washing the yard down , sneaky barstewards . i’ll nip round to my mate’s in the morning and help him with another bottle , that should keep the chill out , cheers , dave

now, speaking of Whisky, Im just about to enjoy a large 55.7vol. of Glenmorangie, MISSOURI OAK RESERVE, Limited edition1991, there was only one thousand bottles made , My wife bought it for me, for behaving myself, I asked her where the other 999, bottles were, I shant repeat her reply, Its a real smooth drink, but I do add a small quantity of water. This afternoon we are interring the ashes of our daughter who died recently, she was 43. And last Monday my father died. He was 96.
So… live for the day and enjoy every day that you have.
