hiya,
Have had a little sit in this beauty i’ts still got the trailer boys handbrake
installed but the last time I looked the mechanical brake linkage was cut
to make way for a new battery box, have pulled a pup with one like this
but it was modified where the trailer braking was done using the drivers
foot, saved the need for the knotted rope and let the little sod kip on.
thanks harry, long retired.

Saw that one at Gaydon in 2010 Harry.Being a young lad as a trailer mate would be a better learning for the job than these young driver schemes.A good old hand could learn you far more practical things about lorry driving, loading, roping & sheeting than any of these,so called courses would. My Dad who drove flatbeds taught me how to rope & sheet from an early age.
There is no substitute for practical experience.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Well, chaps how I hate this time of year, the run up to Christmas all my mates
rolling about sloshed, do you know three of them dropped me several times on
the pub car park last night trying to get me to my car, bah’ humbug. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:
thanks harry. long retired.

Got to agree with you Harry, old Ebenezer had it right Bah Humbug.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Yeh’, and all that wasted food I get a plateful of stuff shoved in front of me
at the Christmas lunch and I can only manage a few forkfulls do try to eat a
bit of turkey which I hate (give me a lump of beef anyday) and those green
brussells sprouts things can’t eat them and why all the fancy sauces?, we do
get invited out for the meal, but give me proper food anyday, bah’ humbug.
thanks harry, long retired.

I don’t mind the Christmas dinner Harry, but I don’t over eat.I don’t go in for Christmas pudding and all that,I find that to rich and filling.I’m the same as you,I like roast beef. I will not eat lamb and I’m not a big lover of pork.
Cheers Dave.
