All my Grandad had as regards wheels,was a wheelbarrow with a wooden wheel with a steel band,and a bicycle.But he was a character,remembered by many in this area.

hiya,
I often wish I’d never graduated beyond a wheelbarrow and a pushbike
no tax or insurance and petrol/diesel could hit £10 a pint and I wouldn’t
bat an eyelid, I’ve known people who’ve gone through life with just the
barest bit of gear and they’ve all had a canny innings and always looked
a picture of health and these people always seemed to drink a bit and a
Woodbine was always clenched in their teeth, Dave I’m thinking of going
out and getting myself a barrow and can you still buy Woodbines?, my new
life starts tomorrow but it’s Sunday so I’ll have my lie-in first, I have just
made a start on my new lifestyle I’ve filled a tumbler with single malt.

He did smoke a pipe and enjoyed a drink in his younger days.Enjoyed a glass of cider out of a barrel at home in later years Harry.If visitors came to the front door,he left by the back door. He live until 1975 and died aged 94.Not bad for a bloke that was born in 1881 in the wilds of Radnorshire.
