If it,s the one with the strippers in it i think it was Wednesday,s . That would be on the A14 A12 split i think on the side down in a bit of a hole, heading towards M6, used a good night in the nineties, but i think it shut down year,s ago.

The one at Godmancester, knocked it down many years ago, there’s now a petrol station and industrial unit on the site.
Also whats with all those ‘adult’ shops on the A1, I find it quite disgusting that I have to try and stop everytime I have just passed one.
Oh and also anyone see the trailer in layby before Welford warning that the layby was a load theft hotspot, I really wanted to nick that trailer.
Westbound at godmanchester, were the petrol station is at the junction with the A1198, wasn’t it called the star truckstop?

And that was one that also had strippers on, on a weekday night, cant remember what night though, oh thems were the days haha.
i remember being there when Chelsea won the European cup winners cup in 97 or 98.
i had sat up the front and drivers came in and pulled up chairs to watch the game. funny thing was about 10 minutes to the end everyone started moving there chairs back until at the final whistle i was there in front of the tv on my own.
with barely 10 seconds to go did i realise the stripper was on her way out and i dived to the back !!!
with my personal kit intact and free from baby oil and talc as was the favorite method of weapon for the travelling stripper to instigate on the lonely trucker who could not escape her trap ,i managed to watch at a reasonable distance . Close enough to the exit when she came round with a glass for tips.

I think the OP is referring to Welford truckstop, near to J1 the A14 and A5199. I stopped there a couple of times years ago.

Are you thinking of the one at Bythorne,between A14 and A45? Cannot think of the name of it now though,to long ago.
Wat was the one on the old a45 just past wat was then the a428 now a14 split on the 1st roundabout past Cambridge more of a cafe with parking than a truckstop tho
