As I’m no longer trading I think I can now be classed as an old N/E haulier.
This is one of my favourite shots of a motor I really loved. Its even got
my company name on it. Regards Kevmac47.0
Kev,it must be hard for you to put this on,but retirement gets better as the years go by, Vic.
Vic,I am enjoying the reduction in stress which even after a month is still slowly draining away!
I have done a bit of work on holiday relief and I am booked for another few days next week.
My good lady is still trying to adjust to the fact that jobs she has nagged me to do are now
finished. I have even painted the front of the house this week, as well as
planting 200 plants for a new hedge. Isn’t it a pity there’s no halo in the smilies??
Regards Kev.

Hello there,I’m a little concerned about the recent posting of some of my photographs lifted from the Scrapbook memories thread,I havent any issues about anything I post on there being used on other threads but I do think its a bit rude to try to rub off the copyright watermark (Very badly) and stick them on this thread.I know my photos aren’t the best quality but its annoying to see somebody ruining a photo…to me its like painting a moustache on the Mona Lisa.If you desparately needed that photo why didnt you PM me,I would have given you it like I’ve done for dozens of others. From now on any North east lorries I put on the scrapbook will be really watermarked…you have spoilt it for everyone Mr ■■■■■.

Is this guy calling the kettle black. I’ve had a look through the Scrapbook thread and 95% of the images he has uploaded are scanned from magazines and newspaper articles which is a blatantly infringing copyright rules thats printed in all magazines and newspapers.
Yeah true what you say Waco, I used to like Scrapbook but it has too many modern motors on thesedays, I could stand next to the A1M to see them! Copyright gets up my nose too, I would say if you don’t want pics copied don’t put them on, and in this case they were put on here for readers that might have missed them on the Scrapbook thread. I have many Wagon books at home and as far as I’m concerned I paid money for them and I own them so therefore own the contents, I wouldn’t sell pics from them but I would post them on sites like this for other like minded to enjoy and if they do get printed off and sold that’s for others to worry about. Franky.

Let me say to you fella,I dont care how much stuff Mr ■■■■■ uses from the Scrapbook…anyone can use what they like on any thread,What I wanted to point out that my photos were being wrecked and put on here ,all he had to do was to PM me and I would have given him a copy, also the people who run this site are the same ones who published the magazines where the cuttings were took from in the first place and they have never ever asked me to stop posting pics from their archives…in fact when the scrapbook got to 500,000 views I was contacted by Rickki the moderator who said the higher ups were very pleased that the thread had been enjoyed by so many people.
If you have an issue with this then speak to Rickki.
IMO “Bubblemans” Scrapbook thread is the finest archive of past and present photos and info of yesteryear that is posted on the TN site. Why anyone should vandalise or critisize Bubbs work I can’t understand, other than the fact they are ignorant ■■■■■■■■■ and don’t recognise a fine body of work when they see one !! Keep up the good work Bubbs, just ignore the ■■■■■■■ and hopefully they will Foxtrot Oscar to another thread !! Cheers Bewick.
Hi Kevmac just ease yourself out of the fast lane and move slowly down to the slow lane life goes on and in no time you will have plenty of things to occupy yourself with then wonder how you ever had the time to go to work.
Just steady away and enjoy it.
Can not see a prob myself, i have not got time to scroll through 300+ pages of scrapbook pages. Davey thought it would be ok to post the pics on here for the benifit of people like me. Who have an interest in old northeast transport firms. Just a shame it,s not to be. You need to get out a bit more Dave.

Franky, I’ve got to side with Bubbs on this, He wasn’t complaining about the use of the pics, more the fact that they were disfigured.
Anyway “the ■■■■■” has already apologised so it’s over lets all move on. regards Kevmac47

Thanyou Paul… Why spoil a good photo by plastering them with watermarks if you want people to enjoy them ?
There was no harm meant

Just to clarify this , Road Transport media Ltd own the copyright to all Commercial Motor, Motor Transport, Truck & Driver and Truck magazines content… this website is owned by the same company , Bubbleman has our explicit permission to reproduce the content that we own on this website … further we are intending to provide him with further content to keep the scrapbook memories thread fresh
What no-one has any right to do is to reproduce anything that we or they dont own the copyright too. What we also do not wish is for our copyrighted content to be copied onto other sites, that is why images are watermarked.
If we are made aware of anything that is posted in breach of the copyrights owners wishes as soon as we are notified we will remove that content.
Just giving a credit/link to where the content was lifted from is not enough specific permission must be obtained. Nynehead is one such group that has allowed some of its images to be posted here, but only by those given specific permission to do so… They dont have to do that, and could stop all and any of the images they own being displayed.
If we all want to continue to enjoy rare images then we have to all stop extracting the urine and ask the copyright owners permission and not simply rip them off.
