A couple of Tulips yard, sad to see it empty now.
F7Sidd, I was in the TA with a Dave Tulip, I’m sure he was related to the said company but not sure if he was involved directly. Nice lad, haven’t seen him for a while though so not sure what he is doing now. Franky.

Hello Franky, cant say the name rings any bells, there was a lot of family but only a couple of them were involved with the wagons.

there was another 3 2429’s,Tony Maughn(who sadly died behind the wheel) Davy Watson and Big Jeff, the reason i mention this is i can remember they were all giving problems that was costing a lot of money, well Jeffs packed in,and Geoff Cooke came down and said and i qoute,TAKE IT OVER THERE AND SET IT ALIGHT AND YOU’LL NEVER SEE ANOTHER MERCEDES IN MY YARD!!! famous last words eh.Your spot on there Peter the gearbox packed in on jct 15 slip road on the M5 igot it up to Gossington cafe on the emergency 1st gear took over an hour me fingers were killing me but someone said you were there buying teas how easy i was fooled in those days any way john pullman collected it with one of gallaghers low loaders put it in the corner and they were cookies exact words and i got a brand new eurotech
