Hi Leyland 600
It was Durham County Library, based at the Spennymoor branch, which was round the corner from where it was parked, It was garaged with us in our garage at Marmaduke Street Spennymoor, and if you look on the W.H.Williams thread it tells you about it, and there is a better photo when it was parked in Ferryhill Market place. Durham County Council took over a year converting it into a library (Fast hard working people!). Throughout its years of service with Durham County Council it had severe oil leaks that they chose not to repair, that would have got any transport operator an immediate GV9. Also starting on a cold morning was a near impossible task.
Carl
For your ease, its on page 69 and discussed further down that page and mentioned several times on page 70, where someone identified it as ex Yorkshire Woollen, and put on a link to a photo of a sister vehicle whilst operating in that fleet

Don’t think the Hoynors were that bad, the way they were designed it was like a normal tipper with a stabilizer with the frame pivoting in the middle of the chassis. They were certainly more stable on the road than a Fruehauf or Tasker as the load was so much lower. If I have one gripe it was drivers leaving the lock pins in when tipping or leaving them out when uncoupling ending up with the rubbing plate on the floor.
hi lads took this today, nice to see that some drivers are still willing give other drivers, a hand to fold the sheets up, bumper
Hi Bumper, It is good to see that some drivers today still know how to fold a sheet.

Here’s one for Larry off the Northumbria lorry thread
Hi Marcus,
I notice on the right hand side one of Moffat’s pf Ponteland. They used to call into our depot at Green Lane Industrial Estate Spennymoor to get washed in our Wilcomatic vehicle wash as many other operators used to, I remember they had a female driver who was quite attractive who drove with her alsatian dog in the cab to look after her. I guarantee she didn’t get too much attention as it used to go mad if anyone went anywhere near
Carl
