Heres some from Durham, CH Newton Bedfords, looking for more pics or information if anyone has any?
A few pics of older Pentleton and Hare motors, I’ve just done some model repaints for a mate and he wanted one done in their colours and supplied the photo’s so I thought I’d share them, a well known firm to those that scaled the bank in Felton with a nice livery. Franky.

Daveymoff I am about to be in possesion of 64 photos on a disc of P&H motors will let you know when I get them.
USED TO RUN SCRAP AROUND IN THE 80,S CAN REMEMBER NEWTON,S FROM DURHAM ALL WAYS HAD A TIDY FLEET .CAN REMEMBER ONE LAD . TEDDY \ TOBBY JUG .USED TO DRIVE 8 WHEEL VOLVO ROLL ON AND OFF. REAL GOOD LAD. NEVER SEEN HIM FOR YEARS THEY ALSO RUN SOME ARTIC,S F88,89,S AND F10,S . SOME BODY MUST HAVE SOME PICTURES .ALWAY,S REMEMBER RAY AND PETER DRIVING THOSE BULLNOSE MACK,S FOR WENDELL,S COULD COULD NEVER WORK OUT HOW THEY FIT IN THE CAB,S .THEY STOPPED AWAY ALL WEEK AND LOVED IT. ALL GOOD LAD,S. BUT THEM DAY,S ARE LONG GONE AND WON,T BE BACK.
These lads running coal and quarry stuff about want to try tipping scrap out. 25 ton of plate and girder stuck up the top of the body and having to shunt back then slam the brakes on to get it to shift. Then there’s all the punctures to sort out, no ringing tyre services, change it yourself at the side of the road no matter what the weather or road conditions. Happy days?
