how about this one?!!! i woke up and thought i had woken up in 1998! my first thoughts was that it was a greek (or it was abandoned, but wheni parked up it wasnt there), then from the melee of the cab a coughing yorkshireman got up
i bet vosa have not seen this truck for a while!
oh, it was in italy, not the uk!!
and i know its not british, but this was one of the shuttle trucks at the gig in rome,a s our trucks were too high to get into the stadium they used half a dozen local trucks and vans to ferry the stuff in and out
mat. was he about 5.4-5.5 around 60 ish ■■.
Excellent pics More please
still working at 25 yrs old.
been to manchester and then to stafford with the old girl this week.
i have a few fh12’s(units) as well but you can’t beat this one for simplicity.
the trailer had braking issues.
I’m fairly sure that Scania belongs to ■■■■■■■■ Dennis or Dirty Dennis as he’s known by his mates. You should have seen his 111 that was a real treat
He used to sleep under the trailer when it was hot too.

He even had satnav in his cab too!
It was in Penzance town centre - very low speed!
I overtook this on the M1 sth bnd between J26 - J25 a couple of months ago… Apparrantly its just used to transport his own traction engine… Think the lad’s from leicester… Still nice to see it being used…
This Ex-Killingbeck ERF was working still about 18 months ago.(Not seen her since)
■■■■■■■ E290 was fitted at the time / and sounded well, and she was doing about 3 days aweek from Cheshire to Carlisle.

This old girl still works 6 days a week, covering approx 30 miles per day delivering fruit and veg to pubs, restaurants, hotels etc.
I see the lorry and driver every Monday in Penzance.
He’s owned the D Series since the early 70’s.
