This winds me up. Talk/whinge about “air pollution” and the Oxford Mail publish a photo of an Earthline lorry. Say what you like about them, but their lorries are all Euro 5, thus not polluting at all.
Although if you want to nit pick, the unsheeted load of Shipton limestone might create airborne dust…

What did they carry? I’ve seen several photos of these trailers and they always looked knocked about and uncared for.
Well, I rang a local company today about jobs that’d been advertised. Spoke to personnel bird and it was a struggle to get more information than “yes we have vacancies” and “send your cv”. I didn’t bother, sorry but if they speak to prospective employees like that how do they speak to their drivers?

We ran them out of Cowley taking Rover SD1 body shells up to Solihull, loaded through the back doors slid in/out rails! Yes they did look battered, but they were run night/day with different driver/ tractor on each trip so… . Regards Chris
