Ron Peploe…now there was a legend in transport on Milton Park!, they used to have a Scania 92 with the words haulage and Storage on the front trouble was some of the letters had fell off and it said haulag and storag …always made me chuckle!, apy dayz!

Hi Andrew, rocking from side to side as always mate, hope all ok with you! Got to take the keys out mate, he’s as bad as I was he’d fire it up & scare his Mum & Nan to death He loves going there to my Mrs Uncles yard, he can wander round them to his hearts content . Regards Chris

Wonderful pics. bjf, thanks for that, and for the batch you put on before. Super detail to copy for my models (yes I’m still in the proses of making them ) Looks like it was a showery summers day, as the Marshalls/Stewards don’t look too wrapped up. Was just wondering, the pic. of the fleet parked up, in the first batch you put on, do you know if the trees in the background were the ones that were at the side of the railway, behind the stadium?

Got Shep’ in No.54 yeah, only now you have said I can make him out . Went through my Class 3 in 1982 with Gordon’s Daughter Greta, that was a nice course , she was a bloody good driver! Shep’ lived down Cowley last time I heard, I heard Greta still lives up Forrest Hill.

Barry , The man to the right of the three man picture is Rodger Keen (ex Brs fitter and oxford bus company fitter ) I will say fitter but Barry knows better than that . " that will be alright " now living in devon area .
