Wasn’t their brewery the one behind the old marmalade factory, and what happened to them?

Witney Stone Co Bedford, being serviced at Ameys’ Wootton. I think they ran out ofQuarry Road, Witney. The stone pit is now a housing estate. Not sure if they were taken over by Ameys or was a subsidiary like Pooles’ Gravels at Lechlade (where the trout farm lakes are).
Took this one out of Dads’ cab window. J.Mould of Reading excavator and one of Sheehans’ Constructors.
Taken at the Kassam Stadium construction around '96. Bet Vosa would love to’ve seen that on the ringroad.
New Case 580…
…For training purposes.
Sheehans’ 95 at Hansons’ Cassington.

The 3300 was before my time on there, Steve. From photos on here it did look impressive, but then so did the '95. Routeman will say what they were, but they still had 2 Daf (2500?) 8ws when I was there. A roro and and a tipper. I always liked the look of the tipper (E reg I think it was, the roro an F?) and the old blue with white signwriting looked good on it.
Mind you, the white paint with blue signwriting looks nice on the Hinos…
The old chaps’ alright Steve, I’m sure he’s eager to go back to work…
One of my favourite photos; Taken on a hot afternoon at Barton on The Heath, Warks. On an 8legger (my favourites) early finish, (told “have a steady ride home”) and out in the Cotswolds. That lorry was a good 'un too.
…There were some good times.
