What’s with the Cannon bag in the screen then Andy, when did they come out? I never had 1 :frowning: , & look at the mileage I did for them! Alright, not always legitimate, but usually ultimately satisfying

Wonder who was the original owner of this Oxford City reg wagon?. Googling R A Forrester brings up a garage in Gainsborough.

There was a firm called Forresters that ran out of Whixall, North Shroshire carrying chemicals with AEC’s and Erf’s mid 1970’s I think they had a light green or yellow livery, certainly max cap artics.

Took this picture today of Harry Hebborns Scammell Highwayman named “the highwayman” , it was hiding in his shed waiting for the boss to fire her up .

Harry is now a member of thi site so you might see some intresting shots of his trucks in action soon , you must ask to see his Aec matador which he tells me he bought out of a long retirement to pull his trucks out of a muddy park in oxford . Even his new Orange Foden could not pull the bogged vehicles out with a mightey ■■■■■■■ but the trusty Aec did with ease .

Only the elite got them bags,so how i got one i’ll never know lol i did think that some of your mileage did end up with a bag of sorts(sorry)

here is Hebborns matador (ex oxford bus company)

tiny fodon named "katy elizabeth " after harrys daughter .

a rare vehicle in there fleet next to a foden

the micky mouse

looking down there yard .

great parking place for harrys dads old diesel princess .

lots of clutter here .

my dads van parked in harrys yard .

oh by the way harry tells me the orange 8 wheeled foden was a tractor unit plated at 80 ton :open_mouth: , it makes easy work of his tackle . but he still loves his gardner engines over the ■■■■■■■ .

Smashing pics there Steve: He needs to get those Mickey Mouse Fodens running and do the funfairs at steam rallies.
I love that V reg, used to have William IV painted on the front…

Not been a good week for Wincanton on the AP contract, 2 in 2 days! (drivers are both OK, or wouldn’t post pics).

Pictured at Cherries, how old I wonder?

Had to wait the other day for Mr Gilder to load this so I could back round the building to the tank!
