This yard at Wootton if I remember correctly was a southern depot for Foden, back in 59/60 (COMS bus driver then) and on a Sat only route ■■■■■■ to Oxford via Wootton going past there and seeing rows of Foden stuff, someone could maybe add to this. Obivously these sheds would have been built since.

The distribution vans—the Bedfords were Neville cab forward control conversions and there were quite a number of them!

Hi Oiltreader I am certain that the chap checking fuelling the ERF was Harry Lucy .sadly killed in a road accident near Newbury about 10 years ago ,he was the transport manager of W C Amey and sons when i joined them in 1949 and took me on (a sad picture for me)
