Officially a 'proper' lorry driver

Well after years and years of anticipation. And a failed test to boot i passed my C&E today. Beating my rigid by 1 minor and my first test by having 0 serious faults

The irony being that I’m back where it all began when I was a little kid going with dad in the lorry. And now tomorrow is my first day on the job.

Anyway see you down the road and be safe folks

Need to get my finger out and get mine done. The company are looking to put some of us rigid drivers through the test so waiting on that before I make a decision.

Congrats on the pass!

Well done mate, now get yourself on the flat work then you will be a "proper lorry driver "

Nice one. Cease communication with rigid drivers immediately.

Congrats Pal!

Although you won’t be acknowledging me for a few weeks…
Which also means for the minute, Beaver won’t notice me calling him a bellend!

Keepnet contents as follows; 1 x Beezle.

Lol…I bet you cant wait for that CE test mate!

I’ve texted him to say you’ve been abusing a real driver. With me saying that, he probably won’t work out that it’s him

Practically counting down the days… Training is 13-16th of next month.
And I’ve already had a few tasters at my firm, with one of the Class 1 drivers doing some “care in the community” work.
So I’ve been hitching his unit up and taking it around our yards circuit when I can. Which consists of 6 full on turns including a trip through the warehouse door, where the brickwork on the headboard side is already <zb!>
Although that’s on hold this week, as he’s off! But I’m sure I will get more “special needs support” when he’s back next week…

The reality is that he’s a good crack & we abuse each other with every greeting, sound familiar?
So you can say i’m in your keep net pal, but do you see me fighting to get out? :grimacing:

I was fishing a few days ago when I posted that I rammed into a trailer, but no one who knew I was class 2 fancied a bite.
Although Paul did already know that facts, so he’s excluded, and that’s probably not the only place he’s excluded with that hair!!!
