hiya,
Old-ham, Old-bury are two towns who have men who play about with their odd shaped balls, and no i have no wish to be reminded any more Old’s thank you very much.
thanks harry long retired.

Some of those with OLD in front of them played some very peculiar games Norm. :open_mouth:
Cheers Dave.

Harry I was thinking more along the lines of " Old Etonians"

hiya,
Nah load of bleedin willie woofters Norm, can’t be doing with that lot.
thanks harry long retired.

Well Harry you never know, he comes from around that area, and when they are in the bath together, anything can be going on?

Norm and Harry , Nothing wrong with a friendly bath together didnt hurt the Romans ,but you Pagens up north only just found out the world was round , and water was not just for drinking

Roger

hiya,
Now you are being silly Roger, even Queen Isabella thought the world was flat, and no doubt she being the queen like must have been better educated than me, must have had the money to go to a better class of school, now you can’t argue with that can you.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry we would be safer not drinking the water from down there, they had a lot of plague in those area’s     , safe north of Watford, and the water got clearer, and another thing sinbin forgot, " Rugby" was invented at a school 20 miles from me, when they was playing croquet down his way, that is if you were noble, not a serf, I wonder Harry, did our friend choose rugby to play, just so he could be nasty sometimes■■? :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:     :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

hiya,
Quite possibily Norm, my old man was a rugby player played into his fifties, could have gone pro but WW2 put paid to that dream, he could be a bit on the nasty side at times, usually everytime he came across me.
thanks harry long retired.

Its a wind up boys relax chill out ,the stress will render you incapable of tapping the keys on the PC them what would you two do

Roger

Only posh people have stress, the working class get ■■■■■■ off.

hiya,
No way posh Dave, no way ■■■■■■ off, never stressed, what am i??, answers on the back of a twenty pound note in a plain envelope +1st class post, now that’s not nice just received an email being described as a “docile village idiot”, wonder do they mean me, bet it’s from Northampton.

Norman

The actual first game of Rugby between two teams was not played in Rugby but in London at Blackheath the Oldest open Rugby Club in the World ,the Game orriginated at Rugby School but no rules were made untill the game at Blackheath ,also the first internationl was played between England and Scotland at Blackheath ,devision between upper and lower classes was the start of the formation of Rugby League,my own Son Matt Plays for Blackheath, RFU. And England Lionhearts RFL so I do Know a little bit about the Game.

Roger

Harry I know you don’t live in a villiage, I know you are not doclie, the third one, I cannot give judgement on, because I do not know your I.Q. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

the only sport i like is chasing women round the setteeee. anything that involves balls (bar mine) is a waste of human energy. i played rugby when i was at the school and someone grabbed my percy and danglers. put me off for life. went and watched the girls playing netball. been blind ever since. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Roger

I know you are trying to wind us up, I have no problem with that, we do that to each other all the time, but we have a friendly group, who are concerned when one of us are not around, we try to take the ■■■■ without trying to offend anyone, I think it was your hostile attitude to people in your replies, that have made you in our minds a no go area. But myself I bear no malice to anyone, we are old lorrydrivers with a few medical problems, who are getting a little enjoyment on the threads while we still can, if you can lighten up we will embrace you in a civilise manner, and even let you come and see some real rugby played by the “Saint’s” Northampton, one cup in the bag, two to go. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:     , by the way Harry, Newcastle got stuffed :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: it is a good job they have got a reasonable football team, see Roger friendly banter.
Norman

hiya,
Norm no interest in the magpies but am an armchair fan of Sunderland, i actually support two soccer teams Sunderland and any team who beat Newcastle.
thanks harry long retired.

Norman

I dont need to be part of your club of fuddy old men with medical problems ,if what I have said is not to your taste or you think I have upset anyone ,they could have a reason that what I have said was true ,most ex drivers who know me, Know I have a way with words and sometimes it reads the wrong way ,I like a bit of banter just go with the flow say what you like ,If you a sensative person Im sorry   .  :imp: :imp: :imp:

Yes the Saints have a great team this season but its Money that got them the players ,I think they could win all the major trophies this season ,I support the Tigers but they have blown hot and cold so far, If you dont want me to post on your thread I wont ,see ya

Roger

Hi Harry,
I take it you won’t be watching Newcastle against Nottingham Forest tonight then.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Sinbin,Roger whatever or whoever gives you the idea you are upsetting anybody on here, you are certainly not bothering me in the slightest i look forward and smile at your imput and i’m a sure you have’nt upset me in any shape or form, i believe in the old saying “sticks and stones may break my bones, but calling names won’t hurt me” keep it coming good buddy, at least you can bank on one fan to welcome you with open arms.
thanks harry long retired.
